"Find a Way to Distract the Looters" is a mission objective in the game Alien: Isolation

Make sure your Flashlight is off
Go east and around to the power generator, and turn it off. Looters will go check what happened. You should now enter the vent next to the generator, and emerge in the area where the looters are. Then go to the north exit of the room where Axel is.
