Jonathan Pitcairn in Assassin's Creed 3

Jonathan Pitcairn is an NPC in Assassin's Creed III. He is one of the men sympathetic to the cause

History[edit]

(1722 - 1775)

Pitcairn was born in Scotland. He left it in 1746 when he enlisted into the British marine Corps as a Lieutenant to assist with the growing tension between the French and the British in Colonial America. He was eventually prompted to Captain and began doing reconnaissance work for the military. By 1754, Pitcairn had become a member of the Templar order.

He originally worked fore Commander Amherst who arranged for him to assist the other Templars in the area of Copp's Hill Battery in Boston. Braddock noticed Pitcairn's sudden appearance and had him arrested on charges of desertion and treason. Lee and Kenway managed to save him from anything more that could have happened to him by freeing him with a quick ambush of Braddock's troops.

Personality[edit]

Pitcairn was an astute soldier and keen strategist from his years of in the British military. Still, he was not the same kind of militant man that Braddock was. He always favored the peaceful solution and felt sympathy for the people on both sides of the conflict.

He strongly supporting the colonies once again falling under the rule of the British Empire.
