Walkthrough[edit]

The Aquila must be fully upgraded to have the best chance at completing this mission.

Starting this mission you will be sent through a sequence of search areas. You can go full sail almost immediately to avoid a lot of the drag between areas. As you enter the first area, ease down to Half Sail. Look to the left and spot the 2 gunboats and a schooner. A well timed and aimed broadside can take out the trio in a burst, but it is very hard to line up. It is easier to do 2 swivel shots and a broadside.

Keep on going forward to reach the next search area. Head over to the left and be sure you have a Broadside ready. Aim over your right to get them all in a single close burst. Break to Half sail for the shot and to get out of the tight quarters. Once clear, go full sail.

As you go toward the next search area a group of 3 gunboats appears on the right. Use a well aimed broadside for some quick kills. Alternately, you can mix broadsides and swivel shots to take them out.

Now you are prompted to sneak up on the Dartmoor. You can either come around on the bow of it or the stern. Go for the bow and just go full sail to keep pace with it. As you catch up with it, start firing with the Swivel Cannons until you can get a broadside on it. When you get out of the channel is when the real fight begins for this mission.

You are now against the Dartmoor and its fleet. There are a total of 6 gunboats and Schooners in this fleet. Take them out quickly.
