Can be found in the forest near the Homestead Manor
They hurt Myriam and you go to get rid of them using your Rope Darts during the Homestead mission Silent Hunter and attack her again in the mission Fool Me Once

Poacher 1: William Johnson's opening up some of that Mohawk Land he purchased for free huntin' soon. Might be we make a good haul up there

After Connor kills five of them:
Poacher leader: Hey, where are ya fellas?
