The Aquila was the fastest ship over her time. Known as the Ghost of the North Seas for her swift hit and run tactics.
Once the Aquila is restored you can begin Upgrade the Aquila.
It is recommended to fully upgrade The Aquila before taking her out on the Privateer contacts as it makes them easier to get Full Synch.
Shots[edit]
As the Aquila gets upgraded she will have more options for shots. Fully upgraded your weapon screen will look like this:
Round Shot: Your basic ammunition. Average damage.
Chain Shot: Specialized ammunition. This is a pair of cannonballs chained together. Great for destroying masts.
Grape Shot: Specialized ammunition. Grape shot does damage to sails and just butchers crew
Heat Shot: Specialized ammunition. High damage to hull, has a chance to set it on fire.
Guns[edit]
The Aquila comes with 2 sets of guns: Cannons and Swivel Cannons:
Cannons: Used for broadsides, you will be firing these a lot.
