"Find Vane" is a mission objective in Sequence 8 / Memory 03: Marooned
Walkthrough[edit]
Head toward the wreckage of the ship you see ahead on the right. Go around it to the right. Grab the chest there and take some time to climb up the mast in the wreckage to Synchronize with the viewpoint above, if you haven't already. Head up the path to the North. Go on up to the first marker. Once you pass through it, go over to the left and climb onto the tilted tree. Run across it to the North. Stay the course and jump across the pond below and its blocking wall. You will be able to hear Vane singing to himself ahead.
When you make it to the far side, be careful, there is a Black jaguar patrolling the left-hand area. Use the Stalking Zone to pass it by or ambush and kill it. Just follow the path after that and rush over to the next marker. Continue on forward along the path until you reach a clearing with a large waterfall where Vane is shouting at Edward from the top of it.
Rush across the area to the temple ruins on the opposite side that you came in on. Climb on up them using the rubble as a starting point. Turn to the left after that and run across the toppled pillar. Go left after that and jump across the first waterfall. Climb on up the crack in the wall. Run across and jump the next section of the waterfall. Head around the corner and start climbing up the wall. At the top go to the right and to where Vane was. He will dive into the water below. Follow him down into it.
Go to the North after you land in the water, following the stream using the tree branches above it. The water will make a few falls then reach a pond. Do not land in this one as there is a crocodile swimming in it. You cannot air assassinate this fellow so let it be and just head for the center island. Turn to the right as you approach the trunk of the tree. Follow the branches above the stream once again. When you find Vane again, a cutscene will trigger.
