Cannons are the Jackdaw's most powerful weapons. A sustained volley from a group of cannons is enough to shatter even the strongest hull.
Accuracy[edit]
The accuracy of any cannon increases exponentially the closer the Jackdaw gets to the enemy ship.
Firing from afar is almost an assured miss, but hitting up close is no sweat for the ship's massive array of cannons.
Firing Positions[edit]
While in Assassin's Creed 3 players could only fire main cannons from either side of their ship, in AC4 players can customize their ship so that cannons can also be fired from the front, although in a lesser number than in the sides.
