"Free 7 Guardian Hostages" is an optional mission objective in Sequence 12 / Memory 04: Ever A Splinter
Walkthrough[edit]
Group 1
Just after Edward makes it to land from the Jackdaw, he should head to the West some and into the Jungle. When he makes it to the village, he will have his first chance to rescue Guardians. Approach them carefully from across the river. Hit the Soldier and the gunner with Sleep Darts then move in and take out the Brute there with a Stealthy assassination. Free the Guardians to move on
Group 2
Head into the cave carefully. Where you can first jump across, look down. There are Soldiers watching a small group of Guardians. Drop in with an Aerial Assassination to take out the patrolling Soldier. Quickly kill off the others and free the Guardians.
Group 3
Climb to the upper level of the Cave and hug the right-hand side of it. Look for the narrow passage toward the end of the cave. Slip down this way to find the final hostages. Take out their captors and you are done.
