"Kill 5 guards with the blunderbuss" is an optional mission objective in de Fayet's Last Stand in Freedom Cry
Walkthrough[edit]
This is a case of you needing to work on the objective long before you reach your target. Any time you find a ground of at least 2 guards, move in on them and blast them with the Blunderbuss. Abstain when it would cause more harm then progress. The easiest thing to do is lob the firecrackers to the West from the front overhang of the Governor's Mansion. This will easily draw 5 guards into range. Jump down to the ground after they go to investigate then blast them all with the Blunderbuss.
A second opportunity presents itself when de Fayet stops running in the fort. Use Smoke Bombs to stun the large number of overseers in the area. Back up some and blast them all with the Blunderbuss. If you did not hit the target during the first blast, this one should take care of it.
