"Kill de Fayet with the branding iron" is an optional mission objective in de Fayet's Last Stand in Freedom Cry
Walkthrough[edit]
Once de Fayet makes it to the fort by the beach, he will turn and fight. To complete this optional objective, you need to disarm him and kill him with his own weapon. Use Smoke Bombs to thin out the rest of the guards to leave just de Fayet. Select Unarmed and wait for Adewale to put away his present weapon. Now move in and disarm him. He will pull out his sword. Now just defeat him with the Branding Iron via a Counter-kill
