"Reach the top of the mast to light the signal" is a mission objective in Freedom Cry in A Ship Of His Own
Walkthrough[edit]
Once the tower has been blown up wait for some of the Soldier to move in toward the beach. At that point jump out of the Stalking Zone and start making toward the ship. Once in the water, immediately use Stealth Swim to avoid being seen by the few Watchers who remain. Emerge from the water when you are almost out of breath. Swim out to the Western side of the ship where there are fewer eyes. Climb up onto the ship. After that climb around to the stern of the ship. Wait for the patrolling Captain to pass by. Head to the front of the helm and perform an Air Assassination on him. After that use the Lift to get up to the mast above.
Once in the rigging, take out the 2 Gunners. Kill the close one and hit the second one with a Sleep Dart. Continue climbing up.
