"Board The ship" is a mission objective in Sequence 8 / Memory 02: Vainglorious Bastards
Walkthrough[edit]
Immediately begin firing on the Pearl. Focus on using the Chain Shot to slow her down. This will also make it easier to just ram the ship. Do not follow behind the ship unless you want to be weaving through a lot Fire Barrels or blowing them up. For now just follow on the opposite side of the sand banks. As you get to the end of the sandbar, Vane's ship will be sunk. Get on over to him and rescue him. You have 15 seconds to grab him as you chase after the Pearl. Just get over to the ship to move things.
