"Stop the overseers before they escape" is a mission objective in Freedom Cry in Laying The First Brick
Walkthrough[edit]
Run for the lift directly ahead of you to quickly get height. Continue straight to the South toward the broken bridge. There is a pole sticking out the wall that Adewale can grab and use to swing across the gap. Climb up the slope then go over to the right. Use the rope to get across to the far side of the river. Turn left and continue your pursuit of the Overseers.
Head across the rocks to the sandbar. Run across it to the high point. Once there a cinematic will run and Adewale will automatically jump onto the rowboat.
