Walkthrough[edit]
- There are 3 locations that Bayek will need to search with Senu.
- Each of these has a brazier set for Anubis that must be relit, after a threat or puzzle has been resolved.
Southern Shrine[edit]
- The Southern shrine is found just to the North of where Bayek and Nefertari part.
- Head out of the quarry and over the nearby ridge.
- This will lead to the platform that was erected above a small pool of water.
- Go over to the platform then interact with the toppled torch.
- This will begin an investigation area.
- There are a few things that can be investigated.
- The first is a blood stain by the broken railing.
- There is some blood on the rocks below the railing.
- A dead body floats on the surface of the pool.
- Below the body, in the water is the final item, the torch top
- You can instantly complete it by diving into the water below.
- Collect the top and climb back up to the platform above you.
- Interact with it to trigger a cutscene.
- Finally, pull out a torch and light the Anubis shrine by standing by it.
Natural Well[edit]
- The Natural Well is found to the South of Nitria.
- This is the same location as the local Hyena Lair, so expect to fight when you arrive there.
- Use Senu to find the precise location.
- Travel across Nitria and head over to the Hyena Lair.
- Once there, you will need to fight through the Hyenas.
- All these Hyenas will be in the low 20's, with the Alpha being around 24.
- Once they are defeated, head under the overhanging stone slabs.
There can be 4 additional Hyenas that will come and attack you.
- Defeat them and then you can quickly investigate to learn a little about what has been done to the area.
- Look at the hanging pig and investigate it.
- Be sure to look under the nearby hanging clothes to find a valuable chest.
- Go into the small pocket of a cave.
- Inside there you will find the unlit Torch of Anubis.
- Pull out your torch and ignite it.
- Simply stand by the torch to light it with your own torch out.
Bent Pyramid[edit]
- Make your way to the search area for the Bent Pyramid, to the Southeast of Nitria.
- This Pyramid has 2 entrances, a high one and a "ground" level one.
- The high one is initially blocked so you will need to break what is obstructing it to progress.
- Head to the Northern side of the Pyramid and find the entrance there.
- Go into the dark passage, pulling out a Torch to light your way.
- Immediately start attacking the 2 Cobras that are lying in wait inside the first chamber of the pyramid.
- With those defeated, climb up the back wall.
- In the next chamber, climb up the far wall to progress forward.
- This will lead to a covered window that you will need to attack.
- After a few hits, the barred window will be open and you can see through it.
- Drop your torch (or throw it through the window).
- Pull out your bow and fire an arrow at the large pot blocking the large crate just through the window to the right.
- This will break it and allow access to the Shrine of Anubis inside the pyramid.
- Make your way back outside and to the other entrance, the High Entrance, of the Bent Pyramid.
- Climb up the side of the pyramid and go into the opening on the Western face.
- Ignite a torch and head through the webbing.
- Look to the left past the webbing to find a short upramp.
- Go up it and look to the right to find a few lootable containers.
- Now go to the crate across from where you entered.
- Push the crate forward from there.
- When it stops, go around it and head into the next chamber of the pyramid.
- You will find the final torch to Anubis in front of you.
- Approach the torch.
- Simply stand by the torch to light it with your own torch out.
