"Defeat Geoff" is an objective in The Algorithm in Battleborn
Walkthrough[edit]
The first phase of the battle is simple enough. Geoff will simply be advancing a bit and firing his lasers on you. There is a chance he will also loose a brood of Minions. This part of the fight you will mostly encounter M1.Gun Bots. This will last until Geoff has taken about 25% health loss. He will then retreat into the building to the West to receive some upgrades from ISIC.
This starts the second part of the fight. Head into the building to the West.
Once the door is open, there are a number of panels spread throughout the area. The Battleborn will need to activate each of the panels. The first is just inside the hangar you enter. The other two are at the top of the stairs in front of you to the North and South.
There are some MX.Strikers that are defending Geoff. This will trigger the fumigation system and get Geoff back outside where he will be vulnerable. The screen gets a green tint to it and you need to hurry outside before the gas can kill the Battleborn. Get back outside to the East.
Geoff will have a few new attacks this round. He will be able to throw around a red net of energy which will pin you down for an extended period. He will also gain access to a few more types of Minions to send after you. He will stay out for this round until he reaches 50% health.
When Geoff reaches 50% health, ISIC will tell him to head in for another upgrade. This time he will head to the East and into the hangar on that side. This is the trigger for the final part of the fight.
Once again, the Battleborn need to activate numerous panels to trigger the fumigators. There are three again, but this time all of them are in Geoff's line of fire with many more MX Strikers about for the Battleborn to deal with. The first is inside up the stairs on the left in front of the platform that Geoff is getting his upgrade on. The second is found straight inside against the back wall. Once again, it is very close to where Geoff is getting his upgrade. The final panel is found in the far Eastern part of the room. This is next to Geoff himself. Whoever goes here, will need to be the most durable or healing a lot to trigger the panel before dying. Again, after you trigger the fumigator, rush outside to the West.
Time to start the final part of the fight against Geoff. One or two people, whoever still needs more experience, should focus on managing the M1.Gun Bots that Geoff will send swarming after you. As much as possible, try to aim his head to inflict the most damage that you can.
