"Defeat Jailer Hylis" is an objective in The Renegade in Battleborn
Walkthrough[edit]
Time for the boss fight of this encounter. The hard part of this fight is going to be Jailer Hylis being protected by his shield.
Scattered throughout the area are going to be Hylis Guards. These are not going to be very mobile and will be providing the power for the Jailer's shield. Each of them will need to be killed before the team can start damaging the boss directly.
When his shield is removed for the first time, he will falter. Immediately have the team move in and unleash their ultimates for high damage. For a boss, he has low health so you can kill him very quickly.
Reducing Hylis to below half health will prompt him to leap through one of the windows on the rooftop. The team will need to follow him outside. He will run to one of the landing platforms just outside the old UPR building. Keep focusing your fire on Hylis to make short work of him. While you are in the outside area there will be a dramatic jump in how many Thralls are coming after you. Killing Hylis will ensure a minimal number of them will have a chance to come after you.
