"Protect communications relay" is an objective in The Experiment in Battleborn

Walkthrough[edit]

Once again, you need to defend an area against invasion. This puts you against a vast number of foes. Have one person stay by the Communications relay to ensure there is someone to respond if anyone gets through the rest of the team.

The rest of the team should spread out around the area. This will let your team have the best chance to get through this upcoming defense portion. Keep on the upper platform initially. Move downward only to better respond more Jennerit Incursion. The first group will land close to the relay itself. Attack them brutally to quickly repulse them. The rest of them will land down the slope you came up to reach the Comm relay. All of this first part will be Robotic Minions. This will be followed by some Jennerit Warp Anchors landing near the Comm relay and Thralls emerging from them. Just, move, deal with the opposing forces and then return to the relay. This will give you the best chance at getting through the whole first wave with minimal complications. Expect to deal with MX.Bulwarks, M1.Rocketeer Bot, M1.Gun Bots and M1.Blade Bots

Mellka will tell you that things are half way down after you get through the first wave. This bodes well at least. Head back to the Comm Relay and replace any destroyed traps and turrets. Time to get reach for the second and final wave here. The Robots will have MX.Strikers added into the mix with everything else that can be deployed against you. There will be a number of MX.Elite Bots spread throughout the area that will be need to be defeated as they make a slow match toward the relay. Defeat all of these robots to complete the wave and get to the next part of the mission.
