"Protect power plant system" is an objective in The Renegade in Battleborn

Walkthrough[edit]

It is time, once again, to play very defensive. One of the Battleborn should stay nearby the Power Plant System while the rest work to repel the incoming Thralls that have been since in after you. The first part of the wave will come into the Power Plant around the Northern side of the area. These are largely Evolved Thralls. The second part of the wave will be deposited just outside the power plant itself.

More will appear within the power plant itself while the Thralls are being dropped off outside the power plant. This is why it is important to have someone by the Power Plant System. Again, it will mostly be Evolved Thralls and Primal Thralls in the odd occasion. The more support you have around the Plant's System core, the less need there is to have someone there. The turret and at least one or two traps will help make sure it only takes minimal damage from incoming enemies. Get through all this to reach the second wave.

During the dialogue and count down, check over the defenses that have been established. If anything is very low on health, have someone stand by it to replace it when it is destroyed. After that wait for the countdown and dialogue to finish to start the wave.

The second wave has Thralls rushing out of the sides of the Power Station immediately. It will start easily enough with Primal Thralls simply rushing in. It will pick up pace very quickly though. More Thralls will slowly come in from the sides and the front of the power station.

After getting through the first part of this wave, you will encounter Thrall Enforcer Captain Trox. This massive Thrall is the final part of the waves. You will need to defeat him and the remaining thralls. You will also need to deal with Thrall Bonecrushers

Get through the waves and then just wait for the door to the West of the Power Station to open.
