If you touch a monster, you apply poison to it (damage over time)
Character Appearance[edit]
Isaac looks pale and sick and gets bumps and markings on his face and body.
Whenever Isaac touches a monster, it poisons the monster making
Synergies/Interactions[edit]
The Virus has the following Synergies and Interactions with other items:
| Item | Synergy |
| Dead Bird | Touching an enemy will spawn the bird familiar |
| The Polaroid | While invinvible, you can poison a monster and take no damage |
| Book Of Shadows | While invinvible, you can poison a monster and take no damage |
| The Nail | The Virus contact damage effect overrides the Nail contact damage effect |
