Little Sisters have been confirmed to appear in BioShock Infinite's Burial at Sea DLC.
What are Little Sisters?[edit]
Little Sisters are young girls bred and raised specifically with aiding Big Daddies in the harvesting of Adam, and as such are the pillars of society as we know it in Rapture.
Big Daddies guard the Little Sisters while they use their massive syringes to suck the Adam from corpses, sea life, and other sources.
Harvesting Little Sisters[edit]
In BioShock and BioShock 2, players could choose to harvest a Little Sister after defeating her Big Daddy guard.
Harvesting a Little Sister resulted in a large amount of Adam awarded up front, but little in the way of long-term rewards.
It is unknown whether or not player, as Booker DeWitt, will be able to harvest Little Sisters in BioShock Infinite.
Sparing Little Sisters[edit]
Sparing a Little Sister saves her and frees her from her obligation to live eternally collecting Adam.
This results in a long-term reward that is typically much greater than the short-term reward gained for harvesting a Little Sister.
Again, it is not yet known if this mechanic will return for Infinite.
