This special bottle contains liquid that will give Booker protection from bullets for a limited time, allowing him to absorb hits without losing health from his health bar.
The shield can only take a minimal amount of damage to start out with, but it can be upgraded as the game goes on.
The shield will regenerate when depleted, indicated by a cracking animation onscreen.
