A Tear in BioShock Infinite
A rip in the fabric of reality which leads into other versions of that reality, the likes of which Elizabeth can manipulate and rip open to change the environment.
During gameplay, this manifests itself in Booker being able to ask Elizabeth to open up Tears in order to change the environment depending on his strategy.
