- Talk to Somai at the Bamboo Lookout to start the quest.
- Kill a Blackram Seeker in the areas south of the Bamboo Lookout loot the Diary Entry
- Turn in the quest by talking to Somai again.

- The Blackram Seeker is the only enemy that will drop the patrol report. Blackram Guards and Blackram Sentinels do not drop this.
- You only need to defeat one Blackram Seeker.
