"Dig up stash" is an objective in the sidequest The Good, the Bad, and the Mordecai in Borderlands 2
Walkthrough[edit]
You want to dig up the pictured grave. It is straight down from the door of the church. This will reveal the stash that Carson hid in the graveyard. When you do this, 2 more people will join in the fray: Mobley and Gettle. Gettle will suggest a showdown when the church bell tolls for the third time.
