Ellie has sent you into the The Forest to find her some armor that will fit her. You find it by The Blacksmith's Cottage.
The armor you first found will not work. Head to the Southeastern side of the Cottage and look behind the loot chest. You will find a glowing crate. Open it up to find something a bit more protective.
