"Pick up Gar's ECHO" is an objective in the sidequest The Bane in Borderlands 2
Walkthrough[edit]
Head from McNally over to the Southern part of The Dust and use the train there to get to Lynchwood. Fight your way to the North from Main Street and over into Gunslinger Corner. Head all the way through town and take the elevator at the end of it. This leads up to the next level of the area.
Head on forward, dealing with all the bandits that are coming at you. Fight on over to the marker. You will find Gar and his ECHO Recording.
