"Reach Checkpoint" is an objective in the Story Mission Battle: Death Race in Mister Torgues Campaign of Carnage.

This now becomes a lot series of objectives under the same name. The idea is to race around the track twice in the time given to you. With 2:30 on the clock, it can take a go or two to get used to the track and complete it within the time given. Keep on the road as much as possible for the first 2 check points. It will keep things simple and keep up your speed.
As you enter the tunnel, this is the point where you will want to use your turbo. Let it burn most of the way, but do not let it expire completely. You will have use of it again very soon.
After you get through the tunnels and get through the next series of turns you will see a slope with a ramp at the end of it. Head for the ramp. As you approach it, hit the turbo. Just aim to go straight over it.
Turn to the South from there and drop down to the ground. Aim to land either on the road or between the Scooter's Sign and the Van. From there it is just a few more turns to make it to the finish line. This is about a 30 - 45 second run with a single turbo in it.
You need to run through all this a second time. If you mess up, you will have saved enough time that you can easily make it. Just keep focused on the road and don't bother taking on any of the Bikers in the area. They just waste your time.
