Witch Doctors are an enemy type in Borderlands 2.
First appeared in the Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC
These are very dangerous enemies.

Abilities[edit]
Summoning Savages[edit]
Witch Doctors can spawn additional Savages into battle.
Leveling Up Savages[edit]
A Witch Doctor can cause a Savage to level up, for example from Savage Warrior to Skilled Warrior
Can also level up a Super Ultimate Badass Warrior to Omnd-Omnd-Ohk, a powerful unique savage that drops the Twister
Buffing and Healing[edit]
The Witch Doctor can buff and heal its allies
Tanking[edit]
Witch Doctors have a ton of health
Elemental Attacks[edit]
Witch Doctors have powerful elemental attacks
Crippling Beam[edit]
Crippling Witch Doctors can fire Crippling Beams that drastically reduce your movement speed.
Singularity Pull[edit]
Witch Doctors can perform a Singularity Pull move to bring you in closer to them
Bats Swarm[edit]
Certain Witch doctors such as the Chupacabra Witch Doctor are capable of transforming into a swarm of deadly bats
Tornado Mode[edit]
Witch doctors are capable of transforming into a powerful, near invincible, Tornado
Strategy[edit]
It is best to make the Witch Doctor a priority target so that you can kill it before it spawns additional Savages or levels them up.
If you are playing as Maya, use her to turn the Witch Doctor on everyone else, or at least you should Phaselock him while you deal with the Savages
