"Activate fast travel" is a mission objective in the story mission "Watch Your Step" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Walkthrough

Turn to the West. You will see a console there. Just interact with it. This will activate the nearby Fast Travel Station. This will let Jack get into the area. Follow him forward as he opens the door into the Laser Command Center and brings it online. Time for one more thing to do.

• Access tunnels to Veins of Helios
• Traverse Veins of Helios
• Exit airlock
• Enter Central Maintenance
• Breach Lost Legion defenses
• Destroy regulators on plasma booster A 0/3
• Destroy regulators on plasma booster B 0/3
• Get to the safe distance
• Traverse Veins of Helios
• Enter command station
• Activate fast travel
• Activate remote shutdown sequence
