"Defeat Flameknuckle" is a mission objective in the story mission "Lost Legion Invasion" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Walkthrough[edit]

You are treated to another introduction sequence for Flameknuckle. This first boss is a 2 part fight that you need to get through. If you need to get any more ammo (a very real concern at low levels) just look around for any of the numerous containers that are scattered around the area.

The first phase you are going against Flamesknuckle he is in his suit. This thing only has a few weakpoints but with Jack's help it isn't too hard to get at them. The weak points on the suit are the pilot and the giant tank on the back. Focus on getting behind Flameknuckle and you will have little trouble punching through the whole health bar with minimal trouble.

The second phase of the fight has a lot more going on. Flameknuckle will be out of his suit and running around shooting with his fiery gun. He will immediately run to the North and start to take cover there. This time he has a shield you need to get through before you can start really hurting him. This is in addition to the numerous minions that have started to come out onto the battlefield from the Northern side of it. You need to hunt him down and deal with all the reinforcements he has brought in. Get through his own shield and he is not too hard to deal with. Keep on the move and use the cover of the area as needed for your shield.
