"Investigate landing site" is an optional mission objective in the side mission "To the Moon" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Walkthrough

Make your way over to the nearby Fast Travel Station. Use it to get yourself to Triton Flats. Grab a vehicle to make the trip a lot shorter. From the Grabba make your way to Chunder's Hole in the Southeastern corner of Triton Flats. Go up the slope and deal with the Rathyds and odd Badass Rathyd in the area. Clear them out just to make the next part easier.

Go to the cargo container on the Northern side of the building. Jump on top of it. That will let you jump on top of the building the Moonshot container hit. Head over to the container and drop down into the opening.
