Walkthrough

• This is a block puzzle that needs you to light 5 flames using the one flame that you start with.
• If you extinguish this flame you can either light a new one with a Fire Arrow or by exiting and re-entering the trial, resetting it.
• There is a water jet that is firing throughout from the center block,starting on the left-hand side of it It will extinguish any flames it crosses.
• Finally, avoid rotating any lit torches into the water. This will also, obviously, extinguish them.
• The center platform is controlled by the block with the crystal on it hovering nearby it.
• By striking the crystal, the central block will rotate in the direction that the arrow on top of the crystal is pointing.
• Begin by striking the bottom, rotating the top flame to the same side as Link.
• Strike the crystal pointing toward the back wall. You can do this with a jumping swing or an arrow.
• This rotating the flame to the torch on the far wall. Wait for the torch to light before continuing.
• Jump and strike the crystal you just struck.
• This rotates the center block 90° again, bringing an unlit torch to the one you just lit.
• Once more, strike the same crystal to rotate the center block another 90°.
• This will light torch the fourth torch. Just wait for it to ignite. |The water jet should be pointed toward the controls.
• Go to the crystal closest to the water jet. The arrow should be pointing upwards. Strike it to rotate the water jet into the pool of water below.
• Turn to the right so you are facing in the direction of the nearby pillars. You want to strike the crystal above you pointing away from the block.
• This will light the final torch and open the gate to the Monk. There are still 2 chests to get in this room.
• There are 2 chests past the torch block on the far wall with a few ways to get at what is there.
• You can use Fire Arrow to ignite the leaves below the chests and burn away the platform under the one on the left.
• A similar effect can be achieved with some careful aim using the torches that you have lit.
• You can also use Cryonis and Magnesis to grab either chest.
• The chest on the left has an Opal inside it while the one of the right has a Silver Bow inside it.
• Head over to the open gate and approach the monk.
• Climb the stairs and interact with the Monk Rucco Maag.
