Walkthrough

• Go to the edge of the water. You will need to use Cyronis to reach the lip where the waterfall is spilling from.
• Create an Ice Pillar just underneath Link and climb up onto it.
• Create a second Ice Pillar a short distant from Link and jump for it.
• If you land in the water, dash to move against the current and reach the pillar.
• Climbing up onto the first ledge, you will see a Guardian Scout. This one will remain stationary and blast Link with its beam if he moves within range.
• To counter the Scout, create an Ice Pillar to block its line of life.
• On the right-hand side of this pool is a chest. You can create an Ice Pillar to lift it up and gain access to it.
• Once you have the chest raised, swim out to it. Quickly climb up and open it. Inside the chest is an Ancient Core.
• From here, you can either pull out your Bow or use a Remote Bomb and quickly take out the Scout or return to the ledge you were on and do the same.
• Use the Ice pillar you placed in front of the scout to climb up onto the platform it was on.
• Against the wall at the back of this pool, use Cyronis to create another pillar to reach that section.
• Swim/Jump out to that pillar and go climb into the final section of this area.
• There are 2 more Guardian Scouts in this section, each on their own platform.
• You can use the raft which appears in this stream over the ledge and then carefully time your creation of Ice Pillars to block the Scouts from shoot you.
• You can also use your Bow or Sphere Remote Bombs to destroy the Scouts and have a safe trip
• There is a gate on the left with a chest behind it. Use Cryonis to block the raft in the middle of the river, then create an ice pillar underneath the gate, which will lift it.
• To reach the Monk, you will need to either ride the raft to the edge of the river or to the back left platform that the Scout was on.
• From either point, jump over the ledge and use the Paraglider to reach the final platform with the Monk on it.
• Climb the stairs and interact with the Monk Kaya Wan.

Strategy Guide/Tips

• Placement of the Ice Pillars can be critical when dealing with the current in some the water here.
• Trying to keep to the middle in the first pool to avoid being swept back.
• Keep to either side in the final stream to avoid going over the edge.
