Walkthrough

• Turn to the right and drop over the ledge there.
• On this landing you will find the first chest. Inside it is Opal.
• Drop down to the lower floor. Head over to the left and take the ramp back up to the entrance point of this shrine.
• Turn to the left of where you came in. There is a giant spinner that you can push.
• Interacting with this spinner will cause the laser beam on the left-hand side of the room to rotate around the room, hitting a crystal switch on the opposite side.
• When this crystal switch is hit, the water level will raise. Wait for it, on the ledge, to reach its maximum level before proceeding.
• Equip Cryonis and create an Ice Pillar by the ledge with the crystal (presently blue).
• Swim out to the Ice Pillar and climb up it to to then jump and land on the ledge with the crystal.
• Walk over to the crystal, equip your Remote Bomb (Cube) and place one by the crystal. You will need this bomb for later to reach the second chest.
• Return to the ledge with the entrance to the shrine.
• Quickly rotate the spinner 180°, be sure your back is to the water.
• Run into the water, dash if you have the stamina
• Swim over to the open doorway opposite where you came into the shrine.
• If done right, Link should make it to the ledge before the water level drops.
• Wait for the water level to lower. Otherwise you will not be able to activate the next switch.
• Grab the metal barrel sitting on the right-hand side of the downward ramp opposite the closed gate. This can also be done with Magnesis
• Place the metal barrel on the pressure plate at the bottom of the ramp. This will open up the gate at the top of the ramp.
• Go through the gate and to the right of the Sheikah Monk. You will a chest you cannot immediately reach.
• Detonate your Remote Bomb at this point.
• The water level will rise, closing the gate you just passed through
• Equip the Cryonis Rune, wait until the water fills and then place an Ice Pillar next to the ledge with the chest.
• Climb up onto the ledge using the Ice Pillar.
• Open the chest there to find a Giant Boomerang inside it.
• Drop off the ledge.
• Climb the stairs and interact with the Monk Sheh Rata.

• This trial can call for some precise timing of execution. Expect to attempt things a few times to get all the chests.
