Description[edit]

An ancient Rito song holds the secret to finding a Shrine from a mysterious platform.

Walkthrough[edit]

  • Talk with Bedoli who is found on the landing platform just below the Shrine on the path down toward the base of the Rito Village.
  • She will ask if you heard her singing the song. Ask her to teach it to you.
  • Bedoli only knows so much of the song and asks you to talk with her sister Laissa to learn the rest of it.
  • Go to the Rito house across from the shrine in the Village. There you will find Laissa.
  • Talk with Laissa, she will challenge you to recite the lyrics of the song.
  • Choose "The pride of the Rito", "Pillar in the sky", "Its heart lights up", "When the sun is high" to complete her challenge.
  • Making all the right choices will have Laissa recite the rest of the song for you.
  • Head to the back of Akh Va'quot Shrine. Go to its edge and look to the left (South).
  • Go over to the shrine platform. When you approach it, you will likely encounter a trio of Chuchus.
  • Defeat them and then, depending on the time of day, prepare to wait.
  • The shrine platform will activate between 12:30 and 13:30.
  • To trigger this shrine platform, you will need a lit torch.
  • Use some Flint or a flame weapon and some Wood. Create a camp fire and wait until Noon.
  • Relight the camp fire and ignite your torch (or tree branch but the torch will work best).
  • Make your way to the Shrine platform between 12:30 and 13:30. Hold a lit torch over the center of the platform.
  • Doing this while the platform is lit up will reveal the Bareeda Naag Shrine

Dialogue[edit]

Bedoli: Good morning! I heard that Divine Beast Vah Medoh had been appeased. It just sends my heart soaring! I didn't even realize I had started singing this old song. Did you hear my singing it?

Link: Teach it to me!

Bedoli: Huh? Well, that's embarrassing... *ahem* "The pride of the Rito, pillar in the sky, its heart lights, up when the sun is high." ...Uhhh. There's more to the song, but I forget the rest of the words.

Laissa: Morning. So Bedoli told you I would sing you the last half of the ancient Rito song? Her memory really is the worst... I can help you, but there is a catch! Recite the first half from memory, and I will teach you the second half.

Link: I'll give it a shot.

Laissa: Go ahead.

Link: The pride of the Rito

Laissa: Correct, and after that?

Link: Pillar in the sky

Laissa: Ah... Right again. And then?

Link: Its heart lights up

Laissa: Well done. Now for the final line...

Link: When the sun is high.

Laissa: Aha! You got every word right! Well, a promise is a promise. I'll teach you the last half of the song. The heart shines upon a path not whole, but a warming flame can stir its soul. That's the second half of the ancient Rito song. Profound, isn't it?

Summary[edit]

"The pride of the Rito, pillar in the sky, its heart lights up, when the sun is high."

It seems there is more to these lyrics than you heard from Bedoli in the Rito Village.

Apparently Bedoli's sister, Laissa knows the last half of the song.
