Walkthrough

• To start this trial, activate your Magnesis rune to grab 1 of the 2 Metal Blocks in front of Link.
• Go over to the left of the power conduit and lift the Metal Block using Magnesis.
• Bring the Metal Block over to the small pillar nearby the power conduit. Try to balance it on the pillar by having the blue marker hover just over the middle of the pillar.
• Be sure that electricity is going into the first Block before you start for the second Metal Block.
• Go over to the right of the entrance, left facing toward the entrance, and use Magnesis on the second Metal Block. Lift up the block and place it on the second pillar.
• Done properly, an electrical current will run through the 2 blocks and open the gate opposite the entrance of this shrine's trial.
• The current does not need to last, just long enough to trigger the gate opening
• Go through the newly opened gate and up the stairs beyond it.
• Turn to the right at the top of the stairs.
• Use Magnesis while looking out over the water on the right-hand side.
• Doing this will reveal a hidden chest in the water. Use Magnesis to lift up the chest out of the water.
• Inside the chest you will find an Ancient Core.
• Go underneath the overhang after that, you will find a Power Conduit as well as a ball and chain attached to it.
• Use Magnesis to lift up the Ball and unwind it from the right-hand side of the pillar.
• With the chain at full length, you can bring it over to the conductor that is nearby the gear, just past it.
• Place the ball in the area nearby the conductor to trigger the nearby moving platform.
• Ride the platform and head across the walkway that it brings you to.
• At the first landing, with 6 lamps on it, you will encounter 3 Guardian Scouts. Defeat them before you proceed
• With the Guardian Scouts defeated, go and grab the Metal Sphere nearby the platform you rode up with Magnesis.
• Bring the Metal Sphere to the landing where the Guardian Scouts where.
• Look along the right-hand wall and you will see a lamp that is horizontal above the reciprocal.
• Place the Metal Sphere in the reciprocal.
• The grating below the reciprocal will rotate and allow Link to access the passage there.
• Walk into the newly revealed passage and follow it to the right.
• This will lead link to a chest with a Gold Rupee inside it.
• Return to the main path, collect the Metal Sphere from its reciprocal and go up the stairs toward the Monk's chamber.
• There is another reciprocal on the left-hand side, just past the stairs.
• Place the Metal Sphere there and then head forward and over to the right.
• Here you will find a passage into another room.
• Look to the left and you will see a large sliding Metal Block as well as 3 columns of stones with Lamps on them.
• To complete this trial, you will need to step on the pressure plate in front of the columns of stone.
• Doing so will tilt the platform the stone columns are on and slide them downhill, away from Link.
• Using Magnesis on the large Metal Block on the left, you need to complete the circuit for a second.
• Slide the Metal Block between the individual stones of the columns to catch each of the 3 approximate 2 down from the Lamp.
• This will take numerous tries. Some usage of Stasis can help if one row is proving to be very annoying to align.
• When done properly, the circuit will be complete and a charge will pass onto the gears, lifting the bars around the final chest and a final gear.
• Move the Gear using Magnesis to reveal the chest beneath it.
• Inside this chest you will find a Sapphire
• Collect the gear using Magnesis and head back to the main hallway.
• Look up and to the right, above the blocked entry way to the Monk.
• You can see an empty socket for a gear. Place the gear you brought over in there.
• This will open the gate to allow access to the Monk's chamber.
• Climb the stairs and interact with the Monk Hawa Koth.
