Breath of the Wild: The Royal Guard's Gear

The Royal Guard's Gear is one of the sidequests in LoZ:BotW

The Royal Guard's Gear is a Quest (Sidequest) in the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Inside the main building, to the left, you will find Parcy
Make your way to the Southwestern entrance of Hyrule Castle. You will want to take the tunnel leading into the West Passage.
Get into the mine cart at the end of the track and use your Remote Bombs to propel yourself forward.
Go into the open hallway to the right.
Either climb up the wall to the left or head to the right and take the path to reach another hallway at the top.
Follow the path to the weakened wall at the end of the passage by taking either path.
Open up the weakened wall if you have not already and go through it to the left.
At the T-intersection ahead of you, go over to the right.
This will lead to the room with a Silver Moblin who has a Royal Guard's Spear.
Link will need to either defeat the Moblin or perform a parry to knock the weapon for its hands.
Head to the other side now, toward Lock Up.
Find the weakened portion of wall and clear it out, if you have not done so already.
The weakened wall leads to a cell with some bent bars on the left-hand side of it.
Go to the opening and fire an arrow through them at the Malice Eye to destroy the Malice pool there and open the cell door.
Once you have access to the hallway here, turn to the right and head down the hall.
Ignore the Silver Lizalfos and Silver Moblin if it is a bit much for you to fight.
Either head over the Malice that is in front of you or climb past it on the narrow walls on either side of the Malice.
Follow the water to the right. You will find a gate over a shallow pool of water.
Use Cryonis to lift up the bars.
Go outside and turn to the left.
Climb up the cliff-face there.
At the top of the cliff, turn to the left, go past the wall and start following the path there up.
This will lead to a door with 2 braziers in front of it.
Follow this path until you reach the next wall on your left.
Climb up the wall to save yourself time running up the path.
Follow this path until you find the guard house ahead of you.
Go through the doorway and take the stairs on down.
At the bottom of the stairs, shoot the Malice Eye to clear the path forward.
Turn to the left past where the Malice was.
Be careful because on the balcony ahead of you is a Black Lizalfos, just inside the Library.
Either defeat or knock down the lizalfos, turn to the left and head on up the stairs.
Go along this walkway to find another Lizalfos on guard. Deal with it and continue past the gap on this walkway.
Continue to the stairs in the back of the room and take them upwards.
Enter the door between the braziers in the back of the room.
Head to the right and through the doorway there.
This will lead to a T-intersection. Go to the left but be wary of the Black Lizalfos to your right and in the passage to the right.
Head to the end of this hallway and go through the opening in the doors.
This leads to a Moblin in what looks like an armory.
Defeat the Moblin and look around the room.
In here you will find a Royal Guard's Shield on one wall and the Royal Guard's Bow on the back wall.
Look to the stairs in this room and take them upwards.
Climb across the gap in the stairs and then go through the doorway open ahead of you on the right.
Follow this hallway and turn to the left at the intersection.
Go to the end of the hallway, on the left-hand side you will find a weak wall.
Blast open the wall using a Remote Bomb.
Inside this chamber you will find the last item you are looking for: Royal Guard's Sword
Leave the castle with the: Royal Guard's Shield,Royal Guard's Spear, Royal Guard's Bow and Royal Guard's Claymore.
Travel to Wahgo Katta Shrine to quickly reach the Riverside Stable.
Inside the main building, to the left, you will find Parcy
Talk with Parcy, and showing her the weapons will get you a Gold Rupee.
Later, you can trade the weapons to her for Gems:
- Sword - Sapphire
- Spear - Ruby
- Bow - Topaz
- Shield - Topaz

Summary[edit]

Though Hyrule Castle was destroyed 100 years ago, somewhere inside it still sleeps rare equipment from those days. It is famed among collectors as the royal guard's series. Parcy, a traveler at the stable, wants nothing more than to see one of them.

However, the castle is a dangerous place nowadays, and ordinary folk risk their lives getting close.
