The Festival of the Lost honors and celebrates the spirits of the dead. Guardians and citizens alike. We commemorate their sacrifices and treasure their memories. We laugh in the face of death.
Festival of the Lost 2016[edit]
The event runs from 10/25/2016 - 11/8/2016
For 2016, all 3 social spaces (The Tower, Vestian Outpost and Iron Temple) have received the festival treatment.

Visiting the tower and talking with Eva Levante will begin the Sweet Memories quest.

Tyra Karn in the Iron Temple will have a new quest for you to complete: Old Wolf, New Tricks.
There are 2 new emotes available through the Eververse Shop: Howl (700 Silver) and Terrify (700 Silver).
There are exclusive Festival of the Lost items that can be found during: Trials of Osiris, Crucible Matches and Strike Horde Chests.

The Ascendant Raisins Quest will give you the Super Black Shader.

The Lost Broom is a unique sparrow that can be acquired by finding a Robot's lost broom in the Bar underneath the Tower Hangar. It sits on the top right-hand shelf close to the middle support in the Bar.

Masker Plan is a series of objectives that you will need to complete wearing particular masks. Keep all your masks, if possible, while you are engaged in this quest.
Festival of the Lost 2015[edit]
This event runs from 10/26/2015-11/9/2015
3 new emotes have been added to the Eververse Shop: Zombie Dance (700 silver), Monster Dance (500 Silver) and Boo (300 Silver).
Eververse is also selling the Treasures of the Lost for Silver.
There are 17 unique Masks that can be found during this event. Those of Rare quality will disappear at the conclusion of the event. Those of Legendary quality are permanent. Those masks can be can be found here: Festival of the Lost Masks 2015
A temporary crucible map has been added into the rotation: Cathedral of Dusk. This is a unique map on the Dreadnaught available to owners of the Taken King.
