Walkthrough[edit]
{This walkthrough was done for Elementalist. Walkthrough for other roles might vary slightly)
Follow the instructions on the screen. Once you complete a certain phase, the instructions will update.
Basic Training Area[edit]
You start at the Basic Training Area
1) use WASD to move around
2) Sprint by holding down the SHIFT While using the W key
3) Walk slowly by holding down CTRL while using the WASD keys
4) Press SPACE to jump
5) Hold down the C key to crouch and move about using the WASD keys
6) Press down on your H key to rest. Take any movement action to stop resting
7) Use any of the movement keys (WASD) to get up from the resting position
8) Click on the middle mouse button to equip the Dawnblade
9) Press R to unsheathe an equipped weapon. This will also happen automatically when you swing at an enemy using your left mouse button.
10) Follow the path until you reach the next training area
Combat Training Area[edit]
Proceed to the Combat Training Area
1) Strike a Training Dummy by approaching it, aiming your crosshairs onto it, and clicking your left mouse button.
2) Parry by pressing your V key
3) Scroll through your quickslot using the mouse wheel and find the Dawnbow. If you have a weapon already unsheathed, clicking the mouse wheel will also unsheath it.
(Check the icon in the bottom center of the screen while scrolling with your mouse wheel until a bow appears. Then use middle mouse button to sheath it)
4) Hold down the left mouse button to draw and aim your bow. Let go to release the arrow. Pressing R will sheath your weapons. This works for any skill.
Tip: You MUST shoot the arrows at the Training Target or Archery Target to advance.
5) Press ESC to enter GUI mode
6) Press B to open your inventory. This can be done in action mode as well as GUI mode
7) Press P to open your paperdoll. This can be done in Action mode as well as GUI mode
8) Add your Dawnstaff to the Quick Slots by dragging it to an empty slot beneath your paperdoll
9) Enter GUI Mode and return to Action Mode by pressing ESC again
10) You can now scroll your mouse wheel to locate your Dawnstaff and equip it by clicking the mouse-wheel
11) Attack the Mage Totem by aiming your Dawnstaff and clicking your Left Mouse Button
12) Select Heal Self from the right radial wheel by simply keeping ALT and your right mouse button pressed. Select the spell and release the button. The skill is now set on the right action slot.
13) Now that Heal Self is in your right action slot, you may cast it with the right mouse button
14) Press Tab to bring up your Radial Wheel Configuration
15) Drag and drop the 'Light' Skill onto any slot on your RIGHT radial menu
16) Cast Light by right clicking with your mouse
17) Walk further down through the vale till you reach the Hide Tents (Follow the road that is next to the Mage Totem and go past the wagon and flag)

Tip: If the tutorial objective does not advance, try entering all the tents
There are a bunch of Shadow Imps here
1) Kill a Shadow Imp and open it's grave (This is what appears after you kill the Imp. Approach the grave and open it by pressing "F")
2) Enter the Shadowy Cave while avoiding the Shadow Golem
Shadowy Cave[edit]
Enter Shadowy Cave
1) Make your way deeper into the cavern past the archway
2) Avoid the attacks of the Dragon and reach the portal below so that the Custodian can transport you to safety.
