Salvage the singularity Core is an Objective in the Chapter, Dead on Arrival in Dead Space
Walkthrough[edit]
- Head forward and go toward the Armory.
- Through the door head to the right then go to the left down the next corridor.
- On the left is a Save Station and on the right is the Armory itself.
- Just inside the room, you will need to be on guard for the Divider that will come charging at you.
- Quickly go for its legs then its head and limbs that crawl toward you.
- On the right-hand side, you will see a few lockers that you can open for 1,200 Credits, Pulse Rounds, and Pulse Rounds
- After that, go for the back center to enter the Shooting Range.
- Go to the table in front of you, next to the display panel, to find some Pulse Rounds (with more on the other end of the table).
- You can interact with the panel to activate the Shooting range.
- While you are engaged with the Shooting range, you have unlimited ammo for your present weapon.
- It's suggested to use the Pulse Rifle or Plasma Cutter for their fast firing speed.
- But this part varies from the original, after a short while, the range will malfunction and Necromorphs will break in.
- You will get quite the variety with 2 forms of Slasher, a Twitcher, 2 Lurkers, and an Exploder.
- This unlocks the lockers on the right of the control panel (and the shooting range is done).
- Be wary exiting back into the Armory since you could get attacked by a pair of Twitchers.
- If you go to the other side of the room, to the right of the door, you will find 2 containers, the closer one has 1,500 Credits, and the farther one has a Small Med Pack.
- This door leads toward the Infirmary.
- Go on through it to find the lasers around the central table have gone wild!
- First though, go over to the left and look on the desk there.
- You will find the Schematics for the Large Med Pack.
- After that, look back toward the central table with the haywire laser.
- Hit that with Stasis as the lasers sweep to either side.
- use that opening to reach the back of the room and the Stasis Recharge Station there.
- This will give you access to the Cargo Bay.
- Be careful approaching the door toward the Cargo Bay since a Twitcher will break through the vent on the right.
- There's a decent chance it will just run into the lasers though.
- Head through the door and over to the left.
- Get to the Save Station, using it if needed, then go into the door across from it to reach the Cargo Bay.
- Going over to the left you can find some Plasma Energy nearby the escape pod the necromorph was in.
- After that, head over to the right.
- You will see a set of 3 lockers and there's a pass through on the left and right that has a Stasis Recharge Station.
- Just as you reach this middle portion of the room, you'll need to deal with a Pregnant, Exploder, Twitcher, and Lurkers.
- On the far side of the middle section you can find a locker with 1,200 Credits inside it.
- Collect a few things but then it's time to fight.
- After getting through the other Necromorphs, a Brute will break in that you will need to fight as well.
- Use the electrified floor panels to inflict heavy damage by hitting it with Stasis while over one.
- Refill your stasis as needed to keep it locked down.
- From there, go to the back right door and head inside this small storage room.
- Once in there, go over to the back right to find a small storage container in the corner.
- Open up the storage container to find a Ruby Semiconductor.
- Turn around and move along the back wall, punching through the boxes in your way (or using Kinesis).
- In that back left corner you can find another container with Plasma Energy on the right and Stasis Pack on the left.
- Exit this small room after to get back into the Cargo Bay.
- Head through the door leading toward the Engine Room after that down a short corridor.
- Just in front of you is a Save Station, and to the right of that are 1,200 Credits.
- Turn back to the left and get to where you see the jets of flame coming from.
- Wait for a jet to stop then rush past it.
- Carefully make your way past the jets of flame toward the intersection of the corridor.
- There is a crate you can grab with Kinesis to block the jets of flame.
- You can also use it to reach the end of the hallway by blocking the twin jets of flame from Isaac.
- Or start to by blocking the first one, then go over to the right.
- Going to the right you will need to dodge the large jets of flame.
- Get to the other side and go over to the left.
- You will find a wall container with 1,200 Credits inside it.
- There are 2 containers with Plasma Energy inside it.
- Look to the right to find another Crate you can grab with Kinesis.
- Bring it back to the section with the 2 jets of flame.
- Use Kinesis to block the jets of flame from there and get to the back to the previously inaccessible section.
- Here, you'll find a wall container with a Node, and smaller containers with
- Now go back trough the large flame jets after tossing the crates across the area.
- Use those crates to block the jets of flame and get down this corridor in front of you.
- This will bring you to a Circuit Breaker for the area.
- You can either power up the Fire Suppression system or the elevator.
- Empower the elevator to draw out the Necromorphs in the area, since otherwise you'd need to empower it later to progress.
- The Flames will start to damage them, and save you the trip back to the Circuit Breaker.
- Grab and use one of the Kinesis Crates to avoid the jets of flame and get back toward the large jets toward the back.
- Once there, throw the crate across, wait for the next flame jet, then go across to catch up with it.
- Then use the Crate to back through the first set of flames.
- This will bring you back to the Save Station.
- Just past there you can find the now powered-up Cargo Lift.
- Activate the cargo lift and ride it up to the next level up of the Engine Room.
- Go to the end of the walkway and approach the Singularity Core.
- You'll see that Hammond has already made it there, and stops Isaac from reaching it!
- Just watch what happens next.
- When the door lifts, go forward and collect the Singular Core.
- Time to start on your way back to the USG Ishimura.
