“Awaken the Glass Throne to summon Time's Conflux.”
“Awaken the Glass Throne” is an objective in the Raid Vault of Glass in Destiny.
Walkthrough[edit]
Enter into the Vault of Glass itself. Just inside you will encounter your first Gatekeeper. This is an unusual Hydra that has no shield protecting it. It is defended by Goblins and Hobgoblins.
After you defeat the first Gatekeeper, 2 more will appear inside the Vex Timegates. These will be activated by the triggering synch plates that are nearby. The timegates will only be active if the Guardians control it and the Vex haven't reached them.
There is one to the left and one to the right. Inside each you will encounter a Descendant Gatekeeper. Have the team inside the Timegate focus their fire on the Gatekeeper. It will drop a Relic. Grab it and regroup with your team. Everyone inside the Timegate will be Marked by the Void. Inside the timegate also expect to encounter some Descendant Hobgoblins. They are the protectors of the Gatekeepers.
Once the relic is acquired, head for the Timegate to return to the Vault of Glass. Once there you will be fighting a good number of Minotaurs, Goblins and Hobgoblins.
A conflux will have appeared that the Vex are attempting to sacrifice themselves to. Be sure to stop them before 4 Minotaurs are able to. Expect to encounter a few Precursor Minotaurs and Hobgoblins as well during this section. Everyone needs to defend and just wipe out the Vex in the area. This will last until the team has cleared both Vex Timegates and retrieved the Relic inside. They must emerge and help defend. Only a short time after that, Atheon will make its appearance.
