This is a Major variant of the Hydra. It still has its rotating shield that protects it. Do not attempt to slide underneath this thing as it can instantly kill any guardian who does. It is stronger all around over the normal Hydra.
Just like the normal one, you need to hit it when it isn't protected. You need to work around the shield as best possible. Its weak point remains its eye in its front.
