Walkthrough[edit]
Head straight forward from the landing point.You want to head across the Barrens to the Scablands. Turn toward the massive base that you see on the upper reaches of this area. That is the direction you want to go.
Head through the archway and go over to the right. Just follow that path to reach Firebase Rubicon
Head around the corner and approach the structure you see ahead. If you head over to the right as you enter, you will encounter Psions and some Legionaries. There is a chance of encountering a Psion Operant. Just head toward the buildings in the back of the area. As you do, look up and to the left. You will see a tower over the next ridge. Head toward that. As you push in deeper, you will also encounter Phalanx. Head over to the left as you do.
You will eventually find a tunnel that leads into the mountain ridge you saw on your way in. Just head into the tunnel and go on through it.
