“Clear the base” is an objective in the mission A New Den in Destiny: The Taken King
Walkthrough[edit]
Head forward to the Iron Line and go through the massive doors. This leads to a large room full of Cabal. You need to fight your way through to the middle of the room and head up the ramp toward the door.
None too far from the door you have a few Psions waiting for you with plenty of Legionaries. They are engaged with a detachment from the remains of House of Wolves. There are some Dreg firing down on them. There are also some Tracer Shanks
Get more toward the middle of the room and you start to encounter the Fallen forces. You have a few Reaver Captains that are likely to charge you. The sides have a good number of Dreg that are just waiting for lines of fire.
Turn toward the other entrance of the Iron Lines, facing away from the large doors leading deeper into Cabal territory. They will remain shut until you clear the remaining Silent Fang and Elder Vandals. Attacking any of them will trigger another wave of enemies to come after you.
This time, put the large door to your back and use the slope of the ramp and the various crates on it for cover. Get through this portion of the fight to complete the mission.
