“Cross the bridge” is an objective in the Raid Crota's End in Destiny: The Dark Below

Walkthrough[edit]
While, overall, the motions you are going through here are simple, the enemies are not. You need to have people stand on the panels to construct the bridge. This can take some coordinated team work as particulars must be observed or there are totems that will go red and explode, wiping the team. To avoid being wiped you will need to avoid activating 3 plates on different sides of the area.
Building the bridge[edit]
3 team members are needed to build the bridge that will allow others across. One needs to stand in the central circle while at least one other needs to be in the side circles. All 3 need to remain in the circles while the bridge is being constructed.
While the bridge is being built you will encounter a number of Thralls and Acolytes. Keep in touch with your team. This is because only the person with the sword can cross the bridge.
Crossing the Bridge[edit]
When the bridge began constructing a Swordbearer was also spawned. This Hive creature is someone's ticket to get across the bridge. The sword will only last for 1 minute from the time it is picked up. They must rush across the bridge and then take out the Gatekeeper on the far side of the area.
Taking on the Gatekeeper can be a challenge for the Swordbearer. They must move in quickly and attempt to keep them stunned to stay alive. Using the combo RB, RB, RT (Xbox)/R1, R1, R2 (PS3/4) is the recommended way. If the sword breaks before the Gatekeeper goes down, the Guardian will need to run as the Keeper will start chasing them. Standing underneath the Totems on the far side can offer some security.
These three steps will need to be repeated twice more to get at least 3 Guardians over to the far side of the area. They will need to deal with the opposition on that side then get on the panels to hold the bridge for the remaining Guardians.
On the Other Side[edit]
When the whole team has made it across, they are in for a fight. You have a massive wave of Hive to cut through. This includes at least 2 Ogres, a number of Wizards and Knights in the flood of Thralls and Acolytes. Get everyone together and have them all work together to clear the area. Do so to finish the second segment of Crota's End.
