“Cross the chasm” is an objective in the mission Queen's Ransom in Destiny: House of Wolves
Walkthrough[edit]
Time for a jumping puzzle. Take a minute or two to observing the disappearing platforms in front of you. The first two platforms appear as such:
Jump to the right from the first platform onto the second. Once on that one, turn to the left and look for the third platform:
Rotate a little to the right as you land on the next platform. You will see the fourth platform nearby:
The final platform will appear ahead of you. Just watch for its appearance. Be sure to get a running start on this jump as it is a long one. Turn to the right and jump over to the solid platform quickly.
Time for the second part of this puzzle. Once again, take some time to watch the platforms and their pattern.
Head for the first platform. The second platform appears just in front of it. Dash from the stable platform on the first vanishing platform. Quickly run from there and jump to the second platform. If the third platform is starting to appear, you are very likely to fall without a very prompt Jump.
On the second platform, turn to the left quickly. You will see the third platform next to you. Jump over there.
After landing on the third platform, go around the raised part to the right or very quickly jump up on it and turn to the right. Quickly jump up onto the next platform.
The final platform will appear in front of you. Run and jump onto it. Rush across it and jump over to the landing beyond it. You are now safe.
Turn to the right. You have some Dregs to deal with. Things are about to get more chaotic.
