“Kill the Wakers and destroy the Soul of Crota.”
“Destroy Crota's Soul” is an objective in the mission The Wakening in Destiny: The Dark Below
Walkthrough[edit]
Head forward. You will be faced with at least 6 Knights and 4 Wakers of Crota. You will need to kill all 4 Waker of Crota to move things forward and destroy the crystal in the middle of the room.
Engage each of the Wakers of Crota in turn. They will not stop their portion of the ritual until you damage them. Whenever you start the battle, you will have a wave Thralls unleashed on you. They will periodically make appearances throughout this encounter. Each of the different Wakers will go to a different area of the room. This can make it somewhat easier to take them on one at a time.
The first one on the right will stay loosely where it is. It will summon in a number of Thrall
The second one on the right will head into the right-hand side of the room. The side with the broken arches of stone. There, it will summon in more Thralls when the present ones have been killed. it will also start blasting you with necrotic energy.
The first one on the left will head over to the rocks between where you came in and the center of the room, just to the left of the bridge you crossed to each the middle where the Soul.
The second one on the left will head into the cave on the left-side of the room. You will have plenty of cover here but it does move around quite a bit.
With all 4 of the Wakers dead, it is time to turn your attention to the Soul of Crota. In the middleof the room is the massive crystal that holds the soul. With the Wakers dead, the nearby stones will be spinning around it to deflect some of the incoming bullets. Keep on the move and circle through the room. Only bother with the other Hive when they are attacking you or you are getting dangerously low on ammo. Just move and shoot. As soon as you destroy this Crystal, the mission is complete.
