“Destroy Taken” is an objective in the mission Dread Patrol in Destiny: The Taken King
Walkthrough[edit]
Head to the ledge below you. Deal with the Knight and head through the nearby door. Go up the stairs (or just jump up onto the ledge to the left) and start running forward. Deal with the Knights and Acolytes in front of you. Go across to the bridge to the opening in the next wall. Head through to the next chamber.
Go through the chamber to the far side. Either deal with or ignore the Hive in here. When you make it the far side, head across the bridge and pull out Ghost. You need to get through the hole in the wall over to the right. Ghost will reveal hidden platforms that will let you get across. They are fairly close together, so just take note of where the first one is and jump out to it. Head across and get into the hole. Turn to the left and follow the path forward. This will lead you to the Trenchway. Head through the opening in the wall. Head through it and turn to the left. Go through the next opening and turn to the right.
Head over to the ledge. Once again, use Ghost to reveal the path across the gap. Get across and then head outside. Turn to the right and proceed forward to find the first group of Taken.
You will see the portal open. There are a number of Taken to deal with: Consumed Psions, Tortured Knight. Clear them out to get the next wave of the Taken to appear. This second round has you going against Consumed Phalanx. This will wrap up the first group of taken you need to deal with
Once again you are going against Consumed Psions and a pair of Consumed Knights. Clear them out and you will need to deal with a small group of Cursed Thralls. Clear out any survivors and reload. A boss is just around the corner.
