“Essential Elements” is a Step in the Quest A Sword Reforged in Destiny: The Taken King
Walkthrough[edit]
To complete this step you must obtain 10 rare planetary materials. These will only appear from resource nodes themselves, not from chests. These materials seem to have between a 5-10% drop rate. Expect to farm at least 100 material nodes.
The second part of this step can easily be done in conjunction. You must get 500 elemental ability kills. This is using melee attacks, supers and grenades. This counts both the PvE and PvP kills that you get.
