Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota is one of the Tier 3 Court of Oryx.
Thalnok can only be hurt with a Hive Blade. You will see Hagrist, Blade's Edge appear as well as 2 Wizards. Take out the Wizards as a few people deal with Hagrist.
Quickly eliminate him to Hagrist, Blade's Edge to get his Hive Blade. That person is now the swordbearer. Have them rush at Thalnok. The rest of the Guardians need to tear through Thalnok's shield with their weapons. When the shield goes down, the bearer should be arriving. Attack a few times and then pull back. Do not be there when he stands up because Thalnok can kill you in a blow. With good coordination you can easily get 2, maybe 3, sets of attacks on Thalnok.
